My Life On Death Row

I can’t stand it anymore - I feel like I’m living a death sentence held in a prison trapped on death row - a row full of pain - a row full of depression - that prison in my body - I’m locked in tight - how I wish I could just take that final walk - walk down death row - and it would all just end all the pain
all the depression - it would just end
it would all just go away - but instead I live a life on death row
in a prison I can never escape

The Queen of Pain

Silence, Emptiness, And Confusion

by Bek
Silence builds an awful wreckage of a girl
It feeds on loneliness and creates a void
Gray shadows haunt and torment and torture
A teenager is stricken and destroyed

There is no sound of laughter or happiness here
The little one has thrown in the towel today
Somber, melancholy moods decay the soul
It is futile to hope and dream and pray

Emptiness builds a home in this woman
In this girl, this child where hollows have bred
A deepening sea of nowhereness consumes
And eats away at every connecting thread

Confusion feeds like a savage inside her,
Leaving nothing considered worthy remains
Destined to walk through life less ordinary
Alone, exiled, different and disdained.

AbortionBeing a teenager and pregnant
A pregnant teenager can feel very isolated and vulnerable. She can be plagued by questions of what to do next, whether she should tell anyone, where to get help or advice and how to tell her parents. Shock, fear, panic, distress is often the immediate reactions to unplanned pregnancy. There are usually tough decisions to make about whether to keep the baby, to have an abortion or to have the baby adopted.

CuttingSelf-mutilation
or self-injury as many others prefer to call it, is the deliberate damaging of body tissue, Sometimes in a hidden way so that no one else can see.  Self-mutilation can include cutting, burning, bruising or poisoning, but does not usually mean that someone wants to commit suicide. But, if people are not helped to stop self-harming, there is a risk that their urge to hurt themselves could grow into a stronger wish to end their lives.

Drugs Last year, half of all the Cape Town Drug Counselling Centre's 583 clients had started using drugs before the age of 13.
On average, addicts spent more than R5 000 a month on their drug habit. While most were on mandrax, 15 percent were used cocaine.
Statistics also show that the most commonly used first drug among teenagers was dagga - 60 percent of all addicts started on dagga - and about 22 percent started with alcohol. Nicotine is also thought to play a significant role.

Eating DisordersEating disorders are seen as a form of self-injury and like with self injury, eating disorders is used as a coping mechanism in life. Whatever pain is inside of the person, whether it be from family problems, sexual or physical abuse, or emotional neglect, the feelings are unbearable and can only be released or "forgotten about" through the pain that comes from injuring one's self.
Children as young as seven can suffer from eating disorders. It may take several years, but eating disorders can be cured and the faster they are spotted the greater the chance of recovery for people of all ages

Suicide In 2004, 4 599 children and adults aged 10 to 24 committed suicide, the biggest rise in suicides in 15 years. Suicide was the third-leading cause of death.
The increase was seen mostly in girls aged 10 to 19 and boys 15 to 19. The biggest increase was among girls aged 10 to 14, where rates rose nearly 80 percent.

Choose Life You are not an accident. Your birth was no mistake or mishap, and your life is no fluke of nature. Your parents may not have planned you, but God did. He was not at all surprised by your birth. In fact, he expected it. Long before you were conceived by your parents, you were conceived in the mind of God. He thought of you first. It is not fate, nor chance, nor luck, nor coincidence that you are breathing at this very moment. You are alive because God wanted to create you! The Bible says, “The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me"
